Wine
Château Musar
The red wines of Château Musar are known for their complexity and maturity.
The wine is aged 12 to 15 months in Nevers oak, and blended in its third year, before being bottled and aged in the cellar for four years.
Château Musar's white wines are full-bodied and carry great finesse. The wine is aged up to six months in oak, and released in its second year.
Red White Rosé
Hochar Père et Fils
A younger wine than the Château Musar. Produced with the same philosophy, it is aged 3 to 4 years before its release on the market.
It is mostly distributed on the English Market, but is enjoying a growing audience in several other European countries.
Red White Rosé
Cuvée Musar
In the same style than Hochar Père et Fils, this second wine of Château Musar, young and light, matches with Lebanon's climate and gastronomy.
Red White Rosé
Rubis
The Rubis is the wine "en vogue" at Château Musar. Today, it is only available on the Lebanese market. Red
Arak
L'Arak de Musar
For the uninitiated, Arack is Lebanon's national beverage. It is traditionally produced from distilled grape must and aged for 5 to 10 years before being redistilled in the presence of anis seeds.
Finally, the Arack is matured for 12 to 24 months in terracotta amphoras, the same style that served Romans during antiquity.
Château Musar produces two different styles of Arack. L'Arack Vieille Réserve which is distilled 3 times and l'Arack de Musar which is distilled 4 times.
